Overview
We partnered with Universal Orlando Resort to create a series of fast-paced, social-first videos that transformed website blog content into engaging visual snapshots. The work highlighted “micro moments” across the Universal experience, helping potential guests quickly imagine and plan a longer, more immersive trip.
Challenge
Universal wanted to shift perception from a short-visit destination to a week-long vacation experience while the brand itself was rapidly evolving. New offerings, experiences, and the introduction of Epic Universe required creative that could adapt quickly, remain consistent with brand guidelines, and rely solely on owned footage and sound design.
approach & outcome
Long-form blog content was reimagined as quick, energetic videos that captured small moments across attractions, dining, and entertainment. Each piece acted as a visual preview of what a multi-day stay at Universal could look like for different types of guests.
Starting from a high-level brief, I developed storyboards that translated written content into dynamic visual narratives, then led art direction, motion design, and video editing. Platform-native pacing was balanced with brand consistency, allowing the work to evolve alongside Universal’s expanding offerings while reinforcing the idea of Universal as a week-long destination.
